Primitive Motion "Home of the Future" art book & CDR

Brisbane's best modern primitivist pop group Primitive Motion have just unleashed a beautiful new EP, Home of the Future (via Leighton Craig's Kindling label), in an edition of only 30 copies. The 3" CDR comes housed in a gorgeous art book built by Sandra Selig, with photographs by SS, LC and Patrida Blake. Not only is this their best recorded work to date, it's an astounding package...

"Brisbane art-pop explorers Leighton Craig & Sandra Selig return with an extended play opus HOME OF THE FUTURE. The signature elements are intact: Martin Rev's rhythm machines, thoughtful Casio melodies, wind instruments, but this time the vocals are bolder, more emotive…shades of Young Marble Giants' haunting classics & as cosmic as anything the German hippies in Amon Duul I conjured in-between breast-feedings. The closing six-minute INTERIOR SEA, built on a slow-burn boss nova beat, is a bright light on the current pop landscape." - Glenn Donaldson

Visit the Kindling Blog to order your copy (there's not many left).

Free downloads of the EP are available now at Kindling's Bandcamp page.
